There are many who believe that the Christian church needs to get out of its four walls and get out into the local community. Last Sunday, Purley Baptist Church did just that when it held a Remembrance Day service in the Jolly Farmers pub.
Local choir, Impact Harmony, was there to lead the pub's customers in a few of the old favourite hymns and there was a two minute silence at 11.00am.
